"Coping with the loss of your beloved pet: Animals & Grief" provides a compassionate and comprehensive approach to dealing with the death of our beloved animal companions. Drawing on real-life stories of the lives and deaths of several dogs through the years, we discuss the challenging decisions we can encounter when facing our beloved friend's terminal illness or old age and their inevitable death. Through these lessons, we develop a deeper understanding of death and dying, and learn how to support our pets through this profound and difficult time.

Through a series of videos, a workbook, articles, and graphics which you can refer back to at anytime, we explore the life expectancy of pets, what death means for us and other surviving animal companions in the family, and how we can confront the reality of death. We go over how we can recognize the signs that our pets are getting ready to transition, how to assess their quality of life, and, as difficult as it is, the process of euthanasia. We learn how to weigh our options and make the difficult decision of whether or not to pursue euthanasia, and how we can be present for our pets as they transition.
This is for you if have lost a pet (dogs, cats and other small animals), you have an elderly pet or have a pet with a terminal illness.
Grief is a challenging emotion to navigate, and hiding and suppressing your pain won't make it easier. Unfortunately, when you lose a beloved animal companion, you may encounter people who don't understand your pain. This series of modules can help you understand the different stages and symptoms of grief, and offer you support too. It's also important to remember that grief looks different in different people, and our course is designed to help you cope based on your individual needs. You're not alone in your loss. We'll also explore how other animal friends grieve too. Join me and let's talk about grief together.
The dog loss course is designed to heal your heart and help you move and live through the grief, not deny it. I like to think of it as a comprehensive guide to grief and healing with a range of tools to help you through this difficult time.
Healing your heart takes effort, so I will guide you through the process by offering you practices like ritual and ceremony. In addition, there are specific modules on self-care and journaling to help you take care of yourself and express your emotions. It's important to take time to remember and honor your animal companion. This is how you begin to heal. Our course includes a special ceremony to honor your beloved pet and help you find closure.
Finally, we close with discuss the question of whether you should consider getting another animal companion and offer guidance on how to make that decision. Join us on this healing journey and find comfort and healing.
Through the course platform you can send me direct messages, share stories and pictures of your pet too. I respond to them as quickly as possible.

In her early 30s, a sudden event changed her life forever in a moment. That experience and the years that followed taught her a lot about grief, how to confront challenges and build resilience. That combined with her professional life inspired her to create tools and resources that people can use to help them transverse the sometimes challenging landscapes we travel through in this life. Her work as an artist, author (of four non-fiction books), writer and editor of Mindful Soul Center Magazine, means she can support people in creating lasting habits, reducing overwhelm and live with more peace & less stress.
A life-long learner, she continues her studies and initiations in various yogic traditions. To learn more about her professional experience and studies visit her linkedin page or ask her a question, send an email to amyincluj@gmail.com.
